An Hour of Code™

Please join us for HourofCode™ on December 12th. A collaboration between Mid-America Science Museum and National Park College, this year's Hour of Code™ event will take place at The Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences (101 College Drive). Pre-register now or register at the door to participate. Limit of 100 participants per class and no age limit. Class times will take place at 9:30, 11:00 am, 1:30 pm & 3:00 pm, with a half hour break between each hour. Be sure to visit Mid-America Science Museum next door for a free Tesla Show and check out our animation station & Cubelets Robot Construction in the Tinkering Studio! 

What is An Hour of Code™?


The 'Hour of Code™ is a nationwide initiative by Computer Science Education Week and Code.org to introduce millions of students to one hour of computer science and computer programming.

The Location

Located on the corner of campus off of Rockefeller Dr. and Mid-America Blvd. the Dierks Center is not hard to find. Be sure to visit Mid-America Science Museum after you're done coding for a free Tesla show and check out our coding station in our Tinkering Studio!
